Hello all. As I sit here plotting what I plan to write I'm looking out the window at my herb garden now covered in a thick blanket of snow. Last night when I went to bed it was so dry and brown except for a few plants which hadn't changed color as yet. In a bit I am going to go out and make sure the tray with the bird seed has the layer of snow scrapped off so that the birds have a bit easier time. Winter has definitely arrived for all the calendar says it hasn't. Sheila K. I am making no claims that it is true. Creation Story by Sheila K. Watkins In the beginning there was a void, a nothingness but it was more then a nothingness for it had the potential for everything. This nothingness divided into two. Male and Female, God and Goddess, and between them they birthed the universe. Throughout this creation, this universe beings came into existence. Races living and dying and in their own way and time finding the Deities. But the beings couldn't comprehend them totally, they could only understand a bit of the picture like the three blind men and the elephant, and the part that they understood broke off and became a Deity in it's own right. Some could only conceive male, Others only female and others both. The Deities were separate when they once were whole. Some parts grew jealous of the other parts, somehow having forgotten that they were once whole. Others tried to get back part of the whole they were by force and war. In other places knowledge of other Deities was forced into secrecy but none of this worked for long on the grand scheme of things for the Gods and Goddesses would not be totally denied. Whispers of knowledge passed down in myth and story and when the time was right followers of these Deities rose again. Copyright (c) 2000 Sheila K. Watson. All Rights Reserved
